Les Rudnick is a self-taught photographic artist and photogramist specializing in landscape, portrait and experimental avant-garde types of imagery, which include Photograms, chemigrams, and pinhole photography.  His work includes minimalist designs and representational imagery created in color and monochrome and is created using conventional and alternative methods.  He uses both classical photographic methods as well as digital technology.

He has taught photography at the Princeton Friends School in Princeton, NJ and also privately, and his photography is included in a variety of publications including Ducks Unlimited, and several issues of New Jersey Outdoors.  He was commissioned and provided all of the photography for the book “Awakening the Hidden Storyteller”, by Robin Moore and his work has been exhibited nationally.  His more experimental work can be seen at a continuously growing review of the history of the photogram as an artistic endeavor.  His photography also appears in “The Daily Book of Photography.”   Les uses digital technology as well as film-based image making.  Each technique provides a different feel and this is used to enhance the mood in each of his final images.

HIs work is purchased for interior decor and for corporate offices.

Les also runs workshops in photographic technique and image-making and in film-based image-making and darkroom processing and printing.
